Thomas Pandolfi, pianist, is emerging as a prodigious virtuoso who excels in reviving the core repertoire from the golden age of pianism. The young pianist=s career has already included performances with such European orchestras as The George Enescu Philharmonic, The Moravian Philharmonic, The National Philharmonic of the Republic of Moldova, The Tiraspol Philharmonic, and The Galati Philharmonic, as well as the American symphony orchestras of Mississippi, Cedar Rapids, Asheville, Princeton, San Angelo, York, Fairfax, and Owensboro, to name but a few.   As an example of critical acclaim for Mr. Pandolfi,  the Asheville Citizen-Times remarked, APandolfi is a standout among today=s young pianists, demonstrating a great technician=s grace, finesse and polish...his virtuosity and strength might have had some believing that Liszt himself had taken over the keyboard.@  

As a recitalist, Mr. Pandolfi has appeared in concert halls nationwide. The Washington Post has described him as Aan artist who is master of both the grand gesture and the sensual line.@  New York Concert Review has characterized Mr. Pandolfi=s interpretations as containing Ahigh level pianism and tasteful, diversified musical ideas...crystalline texture and deft coloration... charm and bracing élan.@

      A favorite in a number of Eastern European countries, Mr. Pandolfi  continues to have extended and expanded tours in that part of the world annually.  Highlights during the 2010-11 season were the release of his 6th CD album, along with guest soloist appearances with The National Philharmonic of Moldova, The Oltenia Philharmonic (Craiova), The Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra (PA), and The LaPorte Symphony (IN). Thomas returned to China in August of 2011 for his second tour of that country. During 2011-12, audiences from Massachusetts to Florida and as far west as California will enjoy his artistry.  He will also be making his recital debut in Toronto, Canada.   
       
Mr. Pandolfi is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where he earned both his Bachelor=s and Master=s degrees as a scholarship student.  In addition to his position as accompanist for National Men=s Chorus, he is accompanist for New Dominion Chorale, based in McLean, Virginia.
